Moving day: protect and load
The crew does a quick walk-through with you, lays floor protection, wraps furniture, takes apart anything that needs it, and loads the van so everything is strapped in.

Common questions
How much does a man and van cost?
From £55 an hour for self load, or £65 an hour with one man and a van. Two men with a medium van is £85 an hour. There’s a two-hour minimum and fuel is included. The full table is on our prices page.
Which areas do you cover?
Forty areas across London from our Southall office, and fifteen across Greater Manchester from our office on Hyde Road. We also do long-distance moves anywhere on the UK mainland.
Are you insured?
Yes. Every job is covered by goods in transit and public liability insurance. If your building manager needs a certificate, we can send one before the move.
Do you take furniture apart and rebuild it?
Yes. Beds, wardrobes and tables are dismantled and rebuilt as part of the job, and fixings are bagged and labelled so nothing goes missing.
How quickly can you move me?
Often within a few days, sometimes the next day. Weekends and the end of the month book up first.
Can I get a fixed price?
Yes. For bigger moves, pianos and long-distance jobs we give a fixed price after a quick video call, so you know the total before the day.
