How we handle single & heavy item moving
Sometimes it’s just one thing. A range cooker, an American fridge freezer, a gym machine, a safe, a large mirror or a marble table top. Too big for the car, too heavy to carry with a friend.
We bring the right number of people and the right kit: a sack truck for appliances, a four-wheel dolly for flat heavy pieces, stair-climbing straps and corner protectors. We’ll ask for measurements and photos beforehand so there are no surprises on the stairs.

What does it cost?
Single items across town are usually a fixed price. Very heavy items such as safes may need a larger crew, so send us the weight if you know it.

Can you disconnect a washing machine or cooker?
We can unplug and move appliances, but plumbed or gas appliances must be disconnected by a qualified person before we arrive.
How heavy is too heavy?
Most household items up to around 300 kg are fine with the right crew and kit. Beyond that, tell us exactly what it is.
Can you take my old one away?
Yes, for a disposal fee. Mention it when you book.
