Quick guide

Match the van to your home

A rough rule of thumb. Big wardrobes, lots of books or a garden shed can push you up a size. If in doubt, send us a list and we’ll tell you.

FAQ

Van questions

What if I book a van that’s too small?

We’ll make a second trip if needed, charged at the same hourly rate. That’s why we ask for a rough list of furniture first. It’s usually cheaper to book the right van from the start.

Do all vans come with blankets and straps?

Yes. Every van carries blankets, ratchet straps, a trolley and a tool kit as standard.

Can I ride in the van?

There’s usually one free passenger seat. With a three-person crew the seats are full.

Are the measurements exact?

They’re typical internal sizes for each class of van. Specific vehicles vary slightly, so if you have a very long or tall item, send us the measurements.
