Details →Areas We Cover · London
Ealing is one of our busiest areas. It’s a short drive from our Southall office, and we move everything from Edwardian family houses around Ealing Common to new flats near the Elizabeth line.
Ealing’s large Edwardian and Victorian houses, especially around Ealing Common, Pitshanger and the streets between Ealing Broadway and West Ealing, often have long front paths, steps up to the door and heavy period furniture. We bring door and floor protection, extra blankets for antiques, and a crew that’s used to dismantling and rebuilding big wardrobes and beds.
Many Ealing houses have been converted into flats, with shared hallways and narrow staircases. Sofas and wardrobes are what usually get stuck. Send us photos and measurements in advance and we’ll tell you honestly whether something will fit, or whether it needs dismantling or hoisting.
There’s also a lot of new-build stock near Ealing Broadway and West Ealing stations. These buildings tend to have managed loading bays and lift bookings.
Most of central Ealing is covered by controlled parking zones, and the Broadway and Uxbridge Road have strict loading rules. For most house moves, we recommend a parking suspension through Ealing Council. Give it as much notice as you can and we’ll advise how much space to request for the van.
Every van carries furniture blankets, straps, a trolley, a four-wheel dolly and a full tool kit, so beds and wardrobes come apart and go back together on the day. You can see the full kit list on our How We Work page.

Once you’re happy, we lock in the date and time.
The crew does a quick walk-through with you, lays floor protection, wraps furniture, takes apart anything that needs it, and loads the van so everything is strapped in.
FAQ
If you’re on a street with resident or pay-and-display bays, usually yes. Without one, the van may end up far from your door, which adds time. Apply through Ealing Council and give as much notice as possible. We’ll tell you how much space to ask for.
Our hourly rates are the same across London: from £55 an hour for self load, £65 an hour with one man, and £85 an hour for a medium van with two men. There’s a two-hour minimum and no charge for driving to you.
Yes. We cover every postcode in Ealing (W5, W13) and the surrounding streets. If you’re on the border of two areas, just give us your postcode and we’ll confirm.
Yes. We have offices in both London and Manchester, so moves between the two cities are routine for us, and we cover the rest of the UK mainland too. Long-distance jobs are quoted as a fixed price.
Often within the same week, and sometimes the next day if a van is free. Weekends and month-end dates fill up first, so the earlier you get in touch the more choice you’ll have.
Send us the details and we’ll come back with a clear price, usually the same day.
