Ruislip is a quick drive up from our Southall office, so we can usually fit in short-notice moves across HA4, from Ruislip Manor to South Ruislip and up towards Eastcote and Northwood.
Ruislip is classic Metro-land: streets of 1930s semis and detached houses with front drives, back gardens and garages. Most homes have off-street parking, which makes loading straightforward. Many families have lived in the same house for years, so lofts, garages and sheds often hold far more than expected.
A lot of our Ruislip work is downsizing: families moving from a four-bed house to a smaller home or a flat, with some furniture going to family members, some into storage and some to clearance. We can do all of that in one booking, with multiple drop-offs on the same day.
There are also flats and maisonettes around Ruislip Manor and South Ruislip stations, and around the High Street, which are usually quick one- or two-bed moves.
Ruislip is in the London Borough of Hillingdon. If you have a drive, we’ll park on it. If you don’t, most residential roads are easy for loading, and the High Street and the roads around the stations are the main places where you’ll need a suspension from Hillingdon Council.
Every van carries furniture blankets, straps, a trolley, a four-wheel dolly and a full tool kit, so beds and wardrobes come apart and go back together on the day. You can see the full kit list on our How We Work page.
